Something definitely of value to share ... as artists, writers, musicians, anyone living in the realm of creative passion (read: perhaps non-normal, what is generally expected by social expectation), we suffer (at times) the slings and arrows of those who find it challenging to respect that what we do, how we do it, and why we do it, is incredibly important and valid for us, and it doesn't make a damn bit of difference how long it takes.

The creative process is a variable you just can't put a time limit on ... when it's done, it's done, and I for one dismiss the negativity of those who try to be discouraging and intimate that writing or any other creative process is a waste of time.

I walk to the beat of my very own and VERY BIG drum ... and I bang the drum loudly ... so wear ear plugs if you think it's noise, because I think it's a beautiful unfinished symphony.

Read the left side first, then from left to right as a whole.

THIS ... and someone who can diffuse tense moments so effortlessly that you're unaware until you realize how calm you are ... THAT's an amazing quality that helps to build a strong relationship, because it's endearing and enduring.

There are a few someones like this in my life, and I appreciate them immensely.

Words have great meaning, and as a person who writes them and respects them, I also know that words need to get through the outer shell before they have a more meaningful effect. I become annoyed when some throw words at me, albeit with good intention (maybe) and thinking, that's all it takes, but when words are coming from one not living in the mind, emotions, and experiences of those struggling to make sense out of fragmentation, then words more often than not fall on deaf ears.

Sometimes it takes a while to stop making excuses for people and accept that it was you who put yourself in the challenging space you're inhabiting because you allowed others more importance than they deserve.

You only have control over yourself, and you're the only one in charge of your thought process, so why is it difficult at times to assimilate that, and get on with it? Probably because you care to be understood.

It's one of those introspective days.

Perhaps I should have stated that I'm shutting down my Lynne's Quest FB page today and wanted to grab my Word Porn and other things to put in this thread over time because it's all so inspirational.

I'm not in a bad head space right now at all, quite the contrary, but what I've posted so far is a poke to me, and a reminder to keep going and be true to who I am and what I'm passionate about.

I'm passionate about my writing, and I'm passionate about what I'm doing with Anhithe for Monria and the community, because we have an incredible community of people who are simply amazing.

As DME, I have an opportunity to grow beyond my purple era (thanks Anhithe), and you haven't gotten my best yet. After an exchange with Ant about where we're going from here to there, we're shifting gears and moving forward.

Besides, I'm totally excited about a new project I'm working on that is pretty cool. :D

So THAT'S how Jar Jar Binks was created :D

You might be right on that one Max, and any Star Wars fan may also feel the same way. Binks was basically hated, and the public let Lucas know about it, but there's an interesting theory that came to light about 5 months ago that I'll share. I'll put the article and video right here in the post so that I'm not sending people off to a site with ads, etc.

The video is at the end of the post.

Jar Jar Binks, A Sith Lord?
The Star Wars Theory That Isn't As Crazy As You'd Think

I know, this concept isn’t something you want to hear, but it’s something you’ve got to hear. A recent Star Wars theory has become pretty viral, if just for its seemingly bizarre concept. The idea: Jar Jar Binks is actually the most powerful Sith Lord in the galaxy.

I mean, this seems pretty legit. YouTube user Vincent H. Valentine walks us through, step by step, the reasons why universally loathed Jar Jar Binks could have been the original big-bad in George Lucas’s master plan for the prequels. But, after Star Wars fans voiced their hatred for Jar Jar, and The Phantom Menace as a whole, Lucas ditched his plans for Jar Jar out of fear.

Some of the points made in the video do make sense, starting with Jar Jar’s apparent penchant for battle, despite his incompetence. After all, he casually demonstrated abilities we’ve seen in our favorite Jedi and Sith, including an epic force jump that I somehow blocked from my memory (along with all of his scenes in Episode I). Additionally, Jar Jar managed to escape all of the first movie’s battles unscathed, and "accidentally" kicked major ass.

Additionally, there are a few clips where Jar Jar’s mouth seems to be moving in sync with other characters’ dialogue, which is more than spooky. In the Sith Jar Jar Theory, he was actually using Jedi mind-control and helping to will the events of the first movie to his favor.

George Lucas is known for introducing characters who seem unimportant or annoying at first, and later surprising his audience with their true intention. After all,Yoda’s first few scenes in Empire Strikes Back portray him as a weird, old, powerless creature living in Degobah. It can be assumed that Lucas was attempting to do the same with Jar Jar, until the backlash and hatred from the fans became deafening.

This theory would also explain certain plot holes, like the hasty introduction of Count Dooku in Attack of The Clones. If Dooku was such an important character to Sith and Jedi alike, why wasn’t he at least mentioned in Phantom Menace? Because, apparently, Jar Jar was going to be the one secretly pulling strings and meant to fight Yoda in Episode II.

It seems that, while George Lucas was too scared to continue with Jar Jar’s original storyline, he may have still been able to make the hated character help the Sith cause. Indeed, Binks was the one who convinced the Galactic Senate to grant Palpatine absolute power - essentially, Jar Jar created the Emperor. The actor who played Jar Jar Binks also supported this theory via twitter.

I will say this, it feels really good when the hidden meaning behind the work is seen. No matter how long it takes. #TPM

Honestly, I’m kind of buying this theory, at least that George Lucas may have had big plans for Binks. Of course, Lucas listened to the fans after The Phantom Menace and ditched the character, with the exception of a couple scenes in two movies.

I hate Binks as much as the next guy, although now part of me wishes Lucas had the chance to redeem the most annoying character in the galaxy.

What a wonderful trajectory off into the wild black hole of space. Thanks Max. LOVE IT. :clap

There's a Darth jar jar.com site and it has, I guess, a fan fiction story of the jar jar emerging as the bad guy. Have only read a little so far, seems good. Thanks DM, I'm gonna have to watch the movies again :)

I find this to be true, for me anyway, even though it has taken me time to not give so much importance to the negative noise. I know that there is a pay-off for those who find satisfaction in disrupting the efforts of others who are trying to do good, but in the end, it's really not a statement about you at all.

This is one that's difficult for me at times, because when people say things or do things that are anything but the truth, I always want to set the record straight. However, I am finding new ways to do just that. :D

Besides, the boss is a great coach.
