I found a little bug whit this quest, if you are crafting whit sweat and get near successes and get some sweat back this counts as your are gathering sweat towards this quest.

This happens for all missions that require you to gather mats. For example : many have used it with the jelly's that are hard to get.
I don't think it is a bug.
