Tailoring on Toulan

Good Morning Everyone. I hope all are well today,

During the course of my research on Toulan, I have identified items that have not appeared in the loot for many years. The majority of the items are used in Tailoring. I have been told by several players in the community that this was perhaps rebalanced at some point to promote galactic trade. However, with Tailoring and Texturing potentially being the primary draw to Toulan (other than Salafa Sights and the Space Travel Program), It seems this would have a negative impact on new players that start on Toulan and on those that visit with intentions to skill Tailoring. Therefore, I would like to suggest that the following items be removed from the loot lists on the forum. This should reduce further frustration of those unfamiliar with the current loot distribution. This would allow visiting players to prepare for their excursion accordingly, while Toulan-Monria born players would have immediate clarity on the need to source the materials elsewhere, perhaps via the Space Travel Program.

The loot items listed in the individual mob loot tables is a result of the community posting in those individual threads what they looted from that specific mob, and then I add it to the loot table ... it's the only way the loot tables work.

With regard to those items not being around for years, I would have to address this with Ant to get his input, but as far as removing all of those items from loot tables, it's a risky deal because items can become available after a period of time as we have all seen. For example, Animal Adrenal Oil was not in loot for a very long time, and only recently showed up again as you have posted yourself.

Loot dynamics or distribution is the one thing we can't discuss because that's part of MA's domain. However, as mentioned, I will have a chat with Ant to make sure he reads your post to get input from him, and then we will go from there.

We always welcome feedback, but sometimes we have to sort out the details before any action taken, if at all. We don't remove items like those resources you listed, and the only thing I know of that was changed by MA was the Welding Wire BP so that a resource from multiple locations was required to craft.

If this helps, This is when everything changed with leather and cloth. I was here for the event and crafted the first [Sindibad Pants (M)].
It was pure madness......
