Monrian Born | Planet Calypso Field Trip | Fri, Jun 7th - Sun, Jun 9th

We are organizing a Monrian Born Field Trip to Calypso. All Monrian Born, especially new players, are encouraged to join us on this excursion in order to complete Calypso beginner missions to acquire the S10 healing tool from the Gauntlet 1 mission, and the Bukins Spare Rifle from the Bukins mission.

Field Trips are sponsored by the Community Initiatives Program (CIP), and an integral part of our Monrian Born Program. Members of the Monria Community Assistance Team (MCAT) accompany us on field trips to help guide our Monrian Born through the activities where required. Additionally, many who are not MCAT team members also join us for the fun and to help with our Monrian Born. We thank them very much.

All Monrian Born interested in experiencing this field trip, please be prepared to join us on Friday, Jun 7th beginning at 22:30 game time, which is the end of our Friday Yamato travel schedule.

If you are on Monria, then you can fly with us during our travel schedule on Friday, or if you are already on Calypso, then meet us a little after 22:30 game time at Camp Icarus to coordinate the agenda.

MONRIAN BORN FIELD TRIP AGENDA

TRAVEL

• depart Monria for Calypso on Friday, Jun 7th aboard the Yamato @ 20:00 game time
• --- 1st Monria summons is at 19:45 game time
• --- final Monria summons is at 19:55 game time
• --- make sure you are not underground in the caves or caverns
• --- we leave Monria at 20:00 game time sharp, please don't be late
• return to Monria from Calypso on Sunday, Jun 9th aboard the Yamato @ 21:00 game time
• --- 1st Calypso summons is at 20:45 game time
• --- final Calypso summons is at 20:55 game time
• --- make sure you are not underground or in an instance
• --- we leave Calypso at 21:00 game time sharp, please don't be late

COMMUNICATION

• you will be sent an invite to our in-game Monria Field Trip channel for communication
• --- this will be done once we all meet at Camp Icarus
• please be sure to keep the channel active so that you don't miss out on the activities
• --- instructions will also be given in the Monria Field Trip channel

ACTIVITIES

• guide Monrian Borns through Calypso beginner missions
• TP runs to collect Teleporters at various locations for those who need them for future exploration
• we will be team hunting on creatures with our Monrian Born
• --- DME will hand out low-level weapons to team on lower-level creatures - (ammo not included)
• --- we will also give our Monrian Born an experience hunting higher level creatures with us
• Sith will be our Team Leader when available and targeting the mobs, so stay alert for instructions
• --- other MCAT team members will be present to help with team hunting when Sith isn't available
• Beacon Marathon
• --- Sith will be hosting a beacon marathon most likely on late Saturday afternoon/early evening
• --- details will be shared in the Monria Field Trip chat channel
• --- he has baby beacons specifically for the Monrian Borns to experience and enjoy
• --- he also has higher level beacons that the Monrian Borns are invited to join as well

REMINDER TO ALL NEW MONRIAN BORNS

• make sure that you have downloaded all planets and space if you choose to join us
• click on the "Tools" link on your Client Loader at the bottom right - see what's checked and not checked
• also make sure that you have signed up to be added to the Yamato guest list here

Any activities with the Monrian community members is fun and crazy because we are a spontaneous and random lot where anything is possible, and it's always good to "Expect the Unexpected."

I’ll try and be available to do sweat circles each day up until Friday for new MB to collect sweat and generate PED for ammo for the trip.

I was in the game early this morning (Sat, Jun 8th) for a few hours and only a few MCAT members were around. I waited to see if any Monrian Born would log in again, and only Dekos did. I was hoping we would be able to do a TP run, but maybe we can get one done before Sith's beacon run at about 16:00 game time.

I am out of the game right now until 16:00 game time and will catch up with everyone then.

It was a fun field trip, but not without its ups and downs ... we didn't get to do the beacon marathon because the Sith family was having major issues with their internet service, but we managed to get a couple of Proteron team hunts in and got a few globals ... and we also did a fairly extensive TP run on Saturday.

Of course, anywhere Monrians go, there is bound to be some chaos and craziness, and this trip was no exception:

Odd Bunny hit the ejector seat AFTER we landed,
and got stuck in the windshield.

Malgar has a strange way of delivering his passengers.

My landing skills are still right on target.

And this is my favorite ...
Odd Bunny was racing around the TP, and Malgar knew how to stop him.

I'm going to have to ban PMs during our trips or activities so I don't miss getting photos of the other crazy stuff. Now that Odd Bunny is with us, we need to be prepared for anything ... he and I go back to 2006, and the anticipation for crazy stuff is always there ... I am still on point regarding that, with a great degree of accuracy ... just sayin'

I love our wild 'n' crazy Monria community ...

No sense telling them to behave when I take them on trips across the universe, they don't listen.

We couldn't ask for a more amazing community ... thank you for being you and for caring about what we do.

Thank you for all the time and effort that was put in by DM and all the MCATs

It certainly didn’t go as planned but excellent and fun memories were made (and memorialised in photos ). I also enjoyed getting to spend more time with those that came and getting to know them better

I can’t wait for the next field trip Maybe DM will even stomach my flying if I get a new computer by then
