Monrian Born | Arkadia Field Trip | Feb 24 - 26, 2017

We are taking our Monrian Born on their second field trip adventure to Planet Arkadia. This will be the first of many to Arkadia so that we can expand the experiences of our MBs and guide them through some mission chains. There will be plenty of other activities during this weekend excursion to add to the adventure.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

• depart Monria for Arkadia on Friday, Feb 24th aboard the Yamato @ 20:00 game time
• return to Monria from Arkadia on Sunday, Feb 26th aboard the Yamato @ 20:30 game time
• if you are not on the Yamato guest list, please follow the instructions here and sign up
• make sure that you have all Planets and Space downloaded so that there is no delay
• also, friend list @RosaRaine Buns and @Superraine raine r456 - Monrian Born Program Managers

COMMUNICATION

• all Monrian Born, please post your full in-game name in this thread if you are joining us
• all Monria Volunteer Support Team Members (MVST) post as to your availability for this field trip please
• we have an in-game field trip chat channel and you will be given an invite

ACTIVITIES

• there is a lot to see and do while we are on Arkadia, but we will focus primarily on newbie missions
• to be able to unlock the initial mission chain, you will need to bring 10k sweat with you
• --- do your best to collect as much sweat as possible between now and when we leave for Arkadia
• --- you will need the 10k sweat to gain your Arkadian Passport
• --- we will bring extra, but we really would like you to make the effort to sweat your own
• --- this way, it will feel more rewarding when you go through the mission chains
• we will begin with the New Arrival mission chain and advance from there
• --- you will be able to collect some cool items from this mission chain, not to mention skills
• we will try to fit in a teleporter run or two so that you have other locations to explore in the future
• we also like to take our MBs on big mob team hunts for the experience, so we'll do that too

@RosaRaine Buns and @Superraine raine r456 manage our Monrian Born Program and do all the recon work in preparing for our MB field trips. They design each planet field trip for optimum efficiency, and to make sure that we are in line with appropriate levels for those who are engaging in the adventures.

We are going through the preliminary newbie missions for each planet first, and then Rosa and Raine will do more recon and design the next level of field trips to each planet to further expand our MBs experiences, but also to guide them through appropriate missions that help to increase their skills.

As always, we appreciate the availability of our Monria Volunteer Support Team (MVST) who join us on these field trips to help guide our MBs through the missions and all activities that take place.

Rosa, Raine and I went on a secret mission with the Turtle (staff ship) last night to Arkadia so that I could get a few photos, but also to check out a few things, and we had some fun.

Whenever I visit Celeste Harbour, I always stop to pay my respects to Professor Milton Lee:

Professor Milton Lee was my favorite character in the Arkadia storyline. He was brilliant, but also a bit feisty. He was driven and relentless, and quite critical of the military's decision making, as well as the length of time it took to get anything done. Unfortunately, Professor Lee lost his life while in pursuit of important data.

We didn't want this mission to be all about business, so we had some fun looking at some of the shops and found some really great items. All 3 of us could have blown the budget on clothes that we found, obviously at the hands of a skilled person, but I don't recall who it was, I just know where the shop is -- Raine's fault.

However, I did splurge a bit and lifted some armor out of Kiki's shop.

I have another set of Perseus sitting in Auktuma's storage, but we haven't been able to meet up in a while, and I needed something a bit better than my Viceroy. When we got back to the Moon, I tested it out on the Shubs at the Cave 4 TP and was able to handle the level 33 Xanthippe quite easily. I have different Pulsar Plates that I can switch out depending on which mob I go after, but the unfortunate thing is ... this armor doesn't have any acid, and the Cultist K'Tans inflict 15% each of both acid and cold. I have the cold plates that give me 24 protection, but I'm not sure if there are plates that combine acid and cold.

At any rate ... I am happy with this interim armor, and not sure I'm going to color it. I find it interesting that they made the foot guards all white. They look like sports shoes.

We are really looking forward to the Planet Arkadia Field Trip. Rocktropia will be the next one.

well... I would like to join you very much, but unfortunately I was not a Monria-born, although most of the time I spend on Monria. My avatar was born 10 years ago @ Calypso and Monria had not yet been. I have not played for a long time and my skills at initial level - so you can treat me as a noob =). Are there any possibilities to participate me too?

I see you on Monria all the time SuperFly, so I can vouch for that myself. You are also a member of the TKoE society who is our official Yamato pilot and crew staff, and you already have the free travel benefit.

Therefore, I don't see why you couldn't come with us on this field trip. We recently added you to the Yamato guest list, so you're good to go there as well. You are also free to join us on future field trips.
