Monria | New Game Show | "Will DME Break Gunner's PED Card"

Periodically, I do a mining run for Gunner to help him keep his shop stocked as much as possible. I did one Saturday night Jun 2nd (still Saturday my time) that turned out very nice, and even got a 66 ped global on Blaus and a 291 ped HoF on Lyst. I mine with a TerraMaster 4 unamped.

All of a sudden, Moneyme created a game show out of it in Monria chat and it took on a life of its own. It became the "Break Gunner's PED Card" event and he took it 15 rounds. It was all in fun, so not sure if he gave out any prizes last night or not, but ...

We decided to make it an official game show today hosted by Moneyme and invited the community to make their guesses on what my claim number would be in each of the 15 rounds (e.g., VIII, IX, X, XIII, etc). When all guesses were recorded by Moneyme, he would say that it was on me now.

I would then start the run and when I hit a claim, I would take a screen shot (see below) and then post the claim number in Monria chat. Moneyme allowed numbers to be duplicated, and he would keep a running record of who scored what and who was in the lead.

I offered a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ped prize of 100, 50. 25. If there was more than one winner in a category, then the prize ped would be split. "This time" ... I surprised everyone with an "Expect the Unexpected" moment and didn't split the ped prizes, but rather gave everyone the full amount.

Moneyme also added a 20 ped bonus to winners who were Monrian Born.

The game show started with Round 1 beginning at 17:50 game time, and ended with Round 15 at 18:54 game time when I called out the final claim to determine the winners.

I didn't get a screen shot for the first claim because I started excavating right away and it was a smaller Zoldenite claim that went pretty fast, which is why I posted the System log above.

Here are the other 14 claim screen shots ... if you hold your cursor over a photo, the URL will show the EU date at the bottom left corner of the forum ... I had to take a photo of the actual claim deed for a couple of the claims because they came up as Unknown.

This was a lot of fun, and ... I can't believe how lucky I am with claims on Monria.

Had another spontaneous game show event on Tuesday the 5th, and following are the results.

I'm not used to capturing a screen shot for my mining claims and missed rounds 1, 2, 3 and 5, so I'm listing the System log to show them specifically for timing and type of claim. I gave the level and type in Monria chat.

The mining run on Sunday, Jun 3rd took 1 hr 4 mins (I think) to get 15 claims, and this one took 1 hr 20 mins .
