We definitely broke our records for number of Globals and HoFs on previous Monria field trips. We had a great crew with us, and Noz once again served as our Team Leader. He did a superb job of keeping us organized, set the rules, navigated our activities, and lead the tagging on the Longtooth.
I was contacted by Lars Sebra from the Calypso Rescue Team prior to the field trip and he offered to do a wormhole from our starting position at Cape Corinth to our hunting location. Coachman from CRT also joined us and was on the receiving end of the wormholes with Noz at the coords for our Longtooth hunting. Lars used to do wormholes for me back in the day when I presented events and special activities, so this was somewhat of a nostalgic trip for me. However, a few of us either didn't know how to activate the wormhole, or simply forgot (that would be me who forgot).
When we started our initial Longtooth hunt on Friday night, Aug 4th, we had more present than allowed team limit, so Noz and I formed two separate teams to begin with until people started leaving for the night and we could all fit on one team. My team was Monria Migration Field Trip 2.0 and Noz's 2.0a. Up to the point where we could all be on one team, we were pretty much neck and neck with regard to globals/hofs, but my team pulled ahead by one in the end, and we also had higher loots, so suffice it to say, team purple ruled.
We spent a full day on Saturday with about a 2 or 3 hour break in between if I recalled correctly, and then about a half day on Sunday because we had our travel schedule to get to and Noz was piloting.
It was a fantastic weekend, and we are all looking forward to the next Monria Field Trip.
Here is the video of the wormholes that Lars performed for us. At the receiving end, the first group was already on their way to the mobs while the rest of us were coming through the wormhole.
Here are a few photos that I managed to capture, and even a global where I got a Longtooth Patriarch Creature Capsule that will go to Ant for when he feels like being a menace.
There's also a photo of our second highest HoF (top one being 950 - didn't get that pic), and the final photo says it all. Coach even brought his mini-Longtooth to the hunt.
