Monria 2017 | St Patrick's Day | Winner Results​

With every event we've had over the past year plus, we had the results posted on the day after the events concluded. However, this event was our first weekend-long event of this magnitude and the data was overwhelming to say the least. Many in the universe converged onto Monria to experience one of the most crazy and chaotic events we could imagine putting together, and along with the community and our visiting allies, we crushed it. We kicked some major creature ass in this continuing war against Cthulhu.

However, Cthulhu paid a visit to our after party in the Monria Hub ... he conceded, with some restraint, and said ... "Congratulations, Monria is yours ... for now" ... you know what THAT means.

In the meantime ... thank you for your participation and your patience, it's greatly appreciated.

There were 10 Dominax Moccasin Whips hid around Monria in Craters and Towers, but not the Caves or Shub Cavern this time because too many did not have all TPs. Each person who found a whip was to bring it to me to verify based on the Tier #'s recorded here, and collect a 20 ped reward, while also getting to keep the whip. At the Event After Party in the Monria Hub at center stage, I did a countdown (3, 2, 1 ...) in Monria Chat and the next Monria Global/HoF determined the over all winner of the Scavenger Hunt.

Ok, I think I have updated everything in the first post that needs to be updated except the Total Knockout boxing event on Saturday. Ant and I have been reviewing data and I believe he has made a decision as to what we will do, so stay tuned for that information when he has a chance to post it.

Boxing results in!

Hey guys, sorry about what happened with the knockout boxing event on Saturday. I had to leave the booth to do an interview and ended up talking for longer than I anticipated.

I've reviewed the footage of the event, thanks @setgato. You should check his twitch stream out btw, I've be adding him to our list on the stream section of the forum, you can find him here Twitch

We had a lot of people new to boxing event who aren't so familiar with the format of the knockout boxing events which is a last man standing event. This means that once you die you cannot re enter the ring. Also at the beginning we gather everyone and they box on the bell. There are other nuances like no jumping in the ring and everyone continues fighting until there is one person left; we the determine the top 3 out of that list. The event system prizes are an additional bonus based on pvp points to encourage people to try to kill each other.

In this case as I wasn't there in person I'm going to call it based on the last three standing and assume anyone who was killed was eliminated as they should have been (even if they re entered the ring).

I suspect there is still some unfinished business so we will set up another boxing event in the near future (with us present) and use it as an opportunity to create a video so people can see how the knockout event works, hopefully helping people in the future.

Again sorry for the hiccup with the event but I think the result is fair and we will have to wait until the next time to find the true champion, although I will be competing in that one ;)

Ok, I was able to catch a few people this early in my morning, but I'm heading out for a while now, I think I need a bit more sleep before I start my RL day.
