Yep we're trying to include everyone for these events. We still plan on having our Boxing championship at the end of the summer with different health and glove categories.

Saying that if you're around at the weekend I'm sure we can jump in the ring with the heavy gloves for a prize ;)

I already have @Superraine raine r456 on my list and always happy to fight someone else ;)

@Eugenio Anhithe Wilde (aka Moon Owner/Manager) has had my head spinning for weeks now. I'm not even sure what words I'm laying down here, but I can tell you most emphatically that if you never quite understood before what we meant by --> Expect the Unexpected <-- you will after this event.

A bonus for this year's event is that we will have a display booth at GamerCon where our activities will be shown on a big screen, so practice your vogue'ing. :D

The events that are laid out in this thread are nowhere near what you will experience over the course of this crazy and chaotic 2-day blow your mind weekend. The events listed here are pretty normal, except for the changes we made with some of the prizes and how it will all work, but ...

It's the Unexpected experiences that will put it over the top ...

ST PATRICK'S DAY EVENT GUIDELINES
  • meet at Main Crater -- Date | Sat, Mar 18th and Sun, Mar 19th -- Time | 10:00 game time
  • Monria Staff and Monria Volunteer Support Team (MVSTs) will be present for specific interaction
  • there will be spontaneous activities and random giveaways prior to each day's events
  • during the course of this 2-day event, spot prizes may be randomly given out -- just because we can
  • there will also be random global giveaways -- always Expect the Unexpected
  • wear your most Irish-related fashion
  • --- that means --> green -- green & white -- green & orange -- orange & white -- green, white & orange
  • --- be creative --> there will be Irish-related fashion prizes
  • Twitch Streamers are encouraged to stream during the event
  • --- list yourself as a Monria Twitch Streamer at the Monria forum here
  • --- give us a time-frame when you will be active with your stream so that it can be scheduled
  • Throughout the event --> watch the Monria chat channel for instructions and announcements

HUNTING EVENT RULES & GUIDELINES
  • Time Begins | Sat, Mar 18th | 00:00 game time -- Time Ends | Sun, Mar 19th | 23:59 game time
  • 48 Hr Mob Spawn Increases -- all 4 mobs will have a spawn increase -- including named/bosses
  • GENERAL INFO
  • you do not have to register yourself or your team for this weekend event
  • any globals on potential shared loot mobs will not count toward the competitions
  • in case of a draw -- the first recorded time will win
  • as in the past, Anhithe will receive extracted data from Entropia Life to determine the winners
  • prizes will be distributed by DME after winners have been determined and posted
  • winners and data will be shared at the Monria forum on Monday, March 20th
  • TEAMING
  • teaming is allowed but teams must have the name Monria in the team name to be eligible for prizes
  • if you hire a healer and don't team, your Globals/HoFs will count as Solo entries
  • if you team with a healer, or anyone else, your Globals/HoFs will count as Team entries
  • see specific rules and prizes below for both Solo and Team Globals/HoFs
SOLO HUNTING
  • Single Highest Global/HoF -- Shub, Cultist, Yog, Shoggoth -- Prize --> 300 PED each mob
  • --- this is for the duration of the 48 hrs
  • you can only win one prize across all 4 mob categories
  • you cannot win both the highest and lowest Global/HoF prize for the same mob category

MAIN CRATER ST PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
  • those walking in the parade should be at the Main Crater at --> 12:30 game time
  • Moon Manager (Anhithe) will organize the line-up for the Parade March
  • let's see if we can assemble an even larger parade participation than last year
  • --- here's a reminder of how cool it was --> Monria's St Patrick's Day Parade 2016
  • Anhithe will lead the parade into the Main Crater to walk a specific path
  • the parade will begin at --> 13:00 game time <-- please be on time
  • the parade will be broadcast on the big screen at GamerCon, so timing is important
  • set your keyboard to WALK instead of run
  • wave as you pass DME because the video camera will be rolling
  • --- please do not step in front of her as it blocks the camera view -- thank you
  • bring along a pet to add more flavor to the parade walk
  • --- if you'd like an Evil Green Leprechaun pet, see DME early in the morning and before parade starts
  • carry handhelds and shoot off fireworks intermittently (some of these will be handed out)
  • look as Irish as you can while walking the parade route in your Irish outfit because -->
  • --- you will be judged by the Monria Team Staff to win fashion prizes

  • total points accumulated at the end of the event determines the winners
  • if you die, you can heal and go back into the boxing ring to continue
  • only Monria Boxing Gloves 12 oz (L) are allowed
  • participants will be scanned to verify that only allowed gloves are being used

MONRIA'S BEST IN SHOW -- WIN A RARE PET
  • Event Begins | 13:00 game time --> Location | WangXiang's Pet Stable @ West Crater
  • you can only use one pet of your choice for the contest
  • at the start of the event, line up in front of the Stable one behind the other with your pet summoned
  • when your name is called, please step up in front of the judges and do your pet tricks and interaction
  • the more creative you interact with your pet the better -- your fashion statement could be key too
  • judging criteria --> most creative avatar/pet interaction with tricks and performance
  • the judges for this event will be the Monria Team Staff
  • PRIZES
  • 1st Place Prize --> Ruby Chirin Dragon Pet + Artemic Ring Modified
  • 2nd Place Prize --> Eudorian Ruby Devil Pet + Artemic Ring Improved

SCAVENGER HUNT
  • EVENT DETAILS
  • Event Begins | 15:00 game time -- Event Ends | 21:00 game time
  • 10 items will be hidden across Monria
  • tier #'s will be recorded in a screen shot and published in the 2nd post prior to the start of event
  • each item will be assigned a coordinating ticket number between 0-9
  • if you find an item, you must contact DME for verification in person
  • once the item has been verified, DME will assign the coordinating number from 0-9 to that person
  • each person will receive a reward of 20 PED and allowed to keep the item
  • you can find more than one of the items and receive more than one reward
  • at the After Party @ 22:00 game time -- we will perform a Monria Chat countdown 3, 2, 1 ...
  • the next Monria Global/HoF that pops up will determine the overall Scavenger Hunt winner
  • Example -- if the Monria Global/HoF is 379 PED, the person holding ticket # 9 is the winner
  • --- if the Monria Global/HoF is 54 PED, the person holding ticket # 4 is the winner
  • the overall Scavenger Hunt winner will receive a prize of --> 100 PED

ST PATRICK'S DAY | AFTER EVENT PARTY
  • Time Begins | Sun, March 19th | 22:00 game time -- Time Ends | when the last person goes home
  • the After Party will take place in the Monria Hub at center stage on the first floor
  • I think the community knows that Anhithe is a random sorta guy, so -- Expect the Unexpected
  • this means --> there may be random prizes given for whatever floats his boat
  • I strongly suggest that you take advantage while this Moon Madness lasts :D
  • the Monria Chat Countdown will take place to determine the overall Scavenger Hunt winner
  • you can count on other random craziness happening because that's just how we roll
