THE MOON SHALL RISE
Our first dark encounter after taking over governance of the Moon was the end of January 2016. We learned the Cultists were guarding a very valuable artifact. After an arduous battle, we were victorious in recovering the artifact that continues to bring forth unsettling challenges in our fight for sanity and survival. The ancient journal discovered inside a secret compartment in the 4-drawer file cabinet has the underworld nervous, and a community on edge as it continues to witness mysterious behaviors.
The recovered file cabinet had strange symbols on the back of it, and we quickly learned that it was some form of rune lettering. The message is ambiguous, but after further discoveries from the contents of the file cabinet, it could only mean that ... The Moon Shall Rise ... will remain cloaked in mystery, and we may find ourselves encumbered in experiences that draw us closer to the evil forces of the dark
Fast forward to today ... yet another Cthulhu entity has joined forces with the Esoteric Order of Dagon in an effort to reinforce evil from the darkness that inhabits the Moon and bolster the strength of the Yogs in what has become a monthly chaotic charade of disruption and distraction while the real dark and evil forces are organizing ranks to take more control of Monria. We are not welcome, they want us gone.
Yidhra DreamWitch is an Outer God, keeping company with the likes of Shub-Niggurath, Yog-Sothoth, Tru'nembra and Tulzscha. Yidhra was on Earth since the first microorganisms appeared, and she is immortal. Through a changing environment, she was able to gain the ability to take on any creature form that she devoured. She conceals her true form behind a powerful illusion, and only her closest cult followers will see her as she really is. If you should encounter her, do not be fooled. Report any incidents to DME. Apparently, she has already infiltrated Monria chat where we have learned that Lee "Negated" Dokken, Leader of the Esoteric Order of Dagon, asked her not to speak in public channels about the business of the dark.
As a result of undercover surveillance, they were caught conspiring. Not a single word was spoken, just gestures that gave the impression that Yidhra was letting Negated know that he had a job to do. We have since learned that Yidhra also communicates telepathically. That would make sense.
The Yogs are once again going to challenge us on the battlefield, and we must be ready. We were hard-pressed to barely squeak by while trying to achieve our goals. Negated and the EOoD are claiming the last two encounters as their victories. Negated said in public chat that he's going for the Hat Trick. Him conspiring with Yidhra will elevate the darkness and the perseverance of the Yogs to hit us hard. This is not a good thing and must not be distracted toward achieving our goals.

BOUNTY STILL OFFERED FOR 1K TOTAL GLOBALS/HOFS COMBINED --> Monria Apartment
- if a total of 1k globals/hofs combined is achieved within the 12 hr span of the event
- the person with the most globals/hofs combined will be rewarded with a Monria apartment
- if more than one person has the same number of total globals/hofs
- the single highest global/hof will be the winner
- if there's a highest global/hof draw, then the first recorded time will apply
- if we don't achieve the 1k globals/hofs goal, this bounty will roll over to May

- be considerate of your fellow participants during the event
- --- this includes not cluttering the TP area with vehicles and/or landing on top of people
- --- when going back out into the field, please be considerate of where you land and pick up vehicles
- the 12 Hr Global Prize Giveaway events are Solo Hunting events only
- random global/hof prizes will be given out during the course of the event
- winners can pick up their prizes at the DSEC Mining Camp TP when convenient, or at end of event
- DME will be standing near the NPCs -- please allow her to initiate all trades

- --- they should be mostly off to the left unless someone aggro'd them
- --- use the insta-teleporter just inside the abandoned mine
- --- this will take you to the DSEC Mining Camp crater ... capture the TP and then ...
- from the DSEC Mining Camp TP follow the road out to the abandoned mine
