Quick update ... it is now 3:40am my time and I've been up all night (took naps yesterday because I wanted to be up in case something happened) ... haven't lost power and at this point not sure that I will, but we're expecting 45mph wind gusts this morning, so the wind thing picked up, and we'll have storms throughout the day, but there's also the storm surge to keep an eye on ... so there's that.

I'll check back in later.

Quick update ... it is 11:15am my time and so far so good ... never lost power, so that's a good thing, especially since it's hot and super humid ... however, we have the rest of the day to watch potential storm surge flooding, especially with high tide coming up later.

Since I have power, I'm going to see if I can get some work done today while I keep an eye on the weather, so I'll be around.

Well, it looks like yet again I escaped the nasty wrath of a hurricane. I never lost power (I rarely do), and there was no flooding, at least not in the immediate vicinity where I live, but guess what? We have 3 more months in this hurricane season, so maybe the party isn't over.

I have to take this time off to get some things done, so I won't be available.

Just a heads up that I may be less available due to an impending move ... if all goes well, then the move will be Sat, Oct 12th.

I will of course do the warp schedules, and will check things every day to see if I am needed. I probably won't be in the game so much but you can always leave me a PM at the forum or a PM on our VS Discord.

Another option is to get a message to me through ShadowDragonV or Tedros Daemonos ... I connect with them every day.

I'll be happy when the move is over and I'm settled. Then I can get super busy again, because the Sep VS Quarterly will be late.

I'll have the Toulan event thread posted on Sunday or Monday the latest. I'll be there at the beginning on Friday night, but not over the weekend.

I'm calling this my fragmented real life work vacation, if that makes any sense, LOL .. I'll be more relaxed and energized once this is over. I'm staying in this gated community that I've been in for 21 yrs, and 16 yrs in my current apt, but it's due for renovation. I'll be transferring into one of the upgraded apts and I can't wait.
