This is truly a loss, and now that my purpleness behind DME is in the forefront, I can tell you that Purple Rain has always been a kind of banner song for me throughout the years, and brings back a flood of memories every time I listen to it. I took my niece to the drive-in theater back in the day to see the movie because she was such a fan too, and that was solid. We often reminisce about how fantastic that experience was.
