It's how everyone else does it to be able to see the Shoutbox. The reason this is in place is because your first several posts have to be moderated ... it's actually part of our anti-bad-spam program to prevent "real" spam.

Do it or don't though, it's up to you.

Your posts are now public, so "shut down" your browser completely and then open it up again. Then log back into the Monria forum ... you should be able to see the Shoutbox on the right just down a bit.
