The Yog's are feeling all festive, and are inviting you to a Holiday gathering in the South Crater. They say it's just a party, a way to mend fences from the year-long fighting that left the crater war torn. I think that it's a really big gesture on their part, and maybe we should show them some love, right? :devil

FREE TRAVEL | TO THE MOON & BACK​

TRAVEL DETAILS

• we are offering free space travel to the Moon and back for our Christmas event
• if you are not a member of the Yamato guest list, please sign up here
• follow the instructions and post your full in-game name
• also list whether you are Monrian Born or otherwise eligible for our free travel program
• if not eligible for our free travel program, then all future flights will be considered paid
• --- please indicate if your future status will be as a paying customer after the event
• --- it is 7 PED during our regular Friday and Sunday travel schedules

• --- we will do a summons from their respective Space Stations only
• if you are traveling with us, please make sure that you are ready because we leave on time

• the route of the schedule may be changed as determined by travel program management

24 HOUR YOG HUNTING EVENT​

HUNTING EVENT RULES & GUIDELINES

• Date | Sat, Dec 17th -- Time Begins | 00:00 game time -- Time Ends | 23:59 game time
• Location -- 24 hr increased spawn in South Crater only, but all Yogs count no matter the location
• teaming is allowed but teams must have the name Monria in the team name to be eligible for prizes
• if you hire a healer and don't team, your Globals/HoFs will count as Solo entries
• if you team with a healer, or anyone else, your Globals/HoFs will count as Team entries
• a person can win only one Solo and one Team category
• also, if you have the single highest and lowest Solo Global/HoF, the first recorded entry will apply
• this holds true for the Team category as well
• in case of a draw -- the first recorded time will win
• as in the past, Anhithe will receive extracted data from Entropia Life to determine the winners
• winners and data will be shared at the Monria forum on Sunday, Dec 18th
• prizes will be distributed by DME after winners have been determined and posted
• DME will also be doing random Global/HoF giveaways

MONRIA SCAVENGER HUNT​

SCAVENGER HUNT DETAILS

• Date | Sat, Dec 17th -- Time Begins | 12:00 game time -- Time Ends | 19:00 game time
• 10 items will be hidden across Monria
• the tier #'s will be recorded in screen shots and published in the 2nd post prior to start of event
• each item will be assigned an associated ticket number between 0-9
• when someone finds an item, they must contact DME for verification in person
• once the item has been verified, DME will assign the associated ticket # from 0-9 to that person
• each person will receive a reward of 20 PED and allowed to keep the item
• at the Christmas Party, we will perform a Monria Chat countdown -- 3, 2, 1 ...
• the next Monria Global/HoF that pops up will determine the overall Scavenger Hunt winner
• Example -- if the Monria Global/HoF is 91 PED, the person holding Ticket # 1 is the winner
• --- if the Monria Global/HoF is 496 PED, the person holding Ticket # 6 is the winner
• the overall Scavenger Hunt winner wil receive an additional prize of --> 100 PEDs

• you can see in the 2nd post of this thread who found the scavenger items
• the overall winner of the Scavenger Hunt was --> timmy bigpop corn
• once again, it was the last whip found that ended up being the winner - Ticket # 2
• and while we were all at the party, Una went out and got the global that paid off

• only Monria Boxing Gloves 12 oz (L) are allowed

• last 3 players standing will be awarded a pair of Monria Boxing Gloves 36 oz (L)
• 1st Place -- will be awarded an additional 100 PEDs -- Winner -- Una
• 2nd Place -- will be awarded an additional 50 PEDs -- Winner -- Amanda Alissanos robinson
• 3rd Place -- will be awarded an additional 25 PEDs -- Winner -- Amanda RosaRaine Buns
• the top 3 event system winners based on total points accumulated will win the system bonus prizes

MAIN CRATER | MONRIA VEHICLE RACE EVENT​

EVENT DETAILS

• Date | Sat, Dec 17th -- Time | 16:00 game time -- Location | meet at Main Crater TP
• the race route takes a path from the South exit of the Main Crater to the closed mine near the Hub
• players will race along this path to the closed mine and back
• depending on the number of participants, players will race in groups of 2 or more
• the winner of each group race will advance to the next level and race against other winners
• each group race winner will receive a pair of 12 oz Monria Boxing Gloves
• this means there is potential to win more than one pair of Monria 12 oz Boxing Gloves
• this will continue until there are 3 remaining winners who will race for the prizes
• 1st Place Prize --> Sandrunner MK III -- Winner -- Una
• 2nd Place Prize --> Sandrunner MK II -- Winner -- Amanda RosaRaine Buns
• 3rd Place Prize --> Sandrunner MK I -- Winner -- Kendra -- (did not take prize)
• --- Kendra raced with Leon because we did the races in pairs and did not expect to win
• --- Lami, Rosa, Una, Kaya and Kendra won their respective laps and advanced to the big race
• --- the lap winners won a 12 oz pair of the Monria Boxing Gloves
• we are still testing vehicles to see what would be best suited for the race
• it will take a few practice runs to become familiar with the track, terrain and vehicle
• staying on course is critical because attempts to cut over hills can prove disastrous
• deviating from the course will also be disqualifying -- as mentioned, the races will be monitored
• if we use single seat vehicles, there will be an aerial flyover to monitor the race
• PRACTICE RUNS
• Dates | Wed (Dec 14th) & Thurs (Dec 15th) -- Time | 20:00 game time

• Location | meet at Main Crater TP at designated times
• you will be shown the exact race track route and given a vehicle for practice runs
• take advantage of these practice runs so that you are not running the course blindly in the event
• it's important to know the race track route before the event
• once it's time to start the event, there will be no more practice runs

I got confirmation that we are adding Cyrene to our free travel for the Christmas event. We will get everyone to the Moon who wants to come to the event on Friday, Dec 16th two hours before the 24 hour hunting and mining events begin. We will then run the same schedule on Sunday, Dec 18th to get everyone back home again.

Please be mindful of the times for each location as we keep our runs on time. Thank You

We are reluctant to use the Sandrunner because it's too fast, flips too easily and is difficult to make sharp corners. It requires a wide birth to turn these types of corners and since the race route near the mountainside and closed mine has such sharp curves, we're back at the drawing board and trying to figure out what will work best for this race.

In the meantime, we are continuing to have practice runs in the evening for anyone who wants to join us. We'll give you different types of vehicles to test, and also familiarize you with the race route. The practice times are posted in the event thread under the Main Crater | Monria Vehicle Race Event section.

Last night, we tested PIGs.

It was a great time, I as always enjoyed the Yog hunt. The racing was great, just not my day to race. Took wrong turn in the race, and power went out in the after race But it was great lol

The boxing was fun, the first one I attended, will get a video up soon. So sad DME had to leave the party early, it really got going soon after. Here is the after party shot:
