The disturbing news at that point was, that Decca discovered cryptic clues within the Grimoire that had dark magic spells that could be used in incantations at a ritual with Cultist Priests to awaken Cthulhu, and once the clues were decoded, it led the Cultists directly to the Necronomicon ... Book of the Dead. We did our best to find it first, but came up short.
We had no idea what Decca's intention was with the Necronomicon, but it didn't take us long to uncover that she turned it over to none other than Yog-Sothoth. This was bad news, because the dark magic spells are even worse, and as we learned from Gothgorath, my undercover resource gatherer inside the Cult of Shut'thend, Monria has a lot to be fearful of from the dark side of the Moon.
We've always known that the universe can be unpredictable in its boundaries, where one entity begins and another ends. Wisdom teaches us to never let it be said that intention is not driven by need, nor need driven by relentless pursuit to achieve a goal. Dimensional realms exist, and serve a purpose that binds those unsuspecting of shifting sands, and draws upon common energy that unites civilizations with similar directional motives. It is this understanding that has us on alert, because the sands on Monria have definitely been shifting.
Yog-Sothoth, known as the Keeper of the Gate, breached an undiscovered portal at the top of the rock formation at DSEC Forensics in the past and gathered creature allies to cause chaos at one of our events. While he, Shub-Niggurath (his mate, and they being Cthulhu's grandparents) are relentless in their pursuit to take back control of Monria with the help of Decca and the Cultists, there is something more sinister going on in the background and we have yet to get a pulse on what it could be that we are facing.
There's no denying that there's an eerie feel in the air, and a thick tension that can't be shaken. There's something coming and we are blind right now, so we are lacking the advantage. I fear that to say that we must remain alert right now would be an understatement.

SATURDAY EVENTS | MARCH 13TH

- Monria Owner/Moon Manager (Anhithe) will organize the line-up for the Parade March
- let's see if we can assemble an even larger parade participation than the last 5 years
- Anhithe will lead the parade into the DSEC Forensics crater to walk a specific path
- the parade will begin at --> 13:00 game time <-- please be on time
- set yourself to WALK instead of run -- press your Q key to toggle walk/run
- wave as you pass DME because the video camera will be rolling
- --- please do not step in front of DME as it blocks the camera view -- thank you
- bring along a pet to add more festivity to the parade walk -- a Green Leprechaun would be nice
- carry handhelds and shoot off fireworks intermittently
- be sure to pick up your St Patrick's Day Event gifts at Toulan
- --- walk up to the Information Booth at the Citadel at center and you will get a pop-up

Do your best to assemble the most creative-looking Irish-related fashion you can and get ready to parade yourself in the DSEC Military Camp Monria Boxing Ring in an effort to win one of three PED prizes. Leave your ego outside of the ring, because during the fashion viewing by the judges, those who are not in contention for winning a prize will be eliminated --
I think you know what this means.
RULES
- Time | 18:30 game time -- Location | DSEC Military Camp -- Monria Boxing Ring
- go North of the TP around the rock wall, and past Wang's pet stable to the boxing ring
- register with the Event Organizer at the boxing ring prior to the event
- --- this is only for those who are participating in the SPD Fashion Contest
- be sure to register prior to the start of the event, or you won't gain access to the boxing ring
- at 18:15 game time, all participants should enter the boxing ring --- please be on time
- --- stand around the outer edge of the ring at the ropes and not in the center
- --- the Virtualsense Team Staff will be in the center of the ring reviewing your fashion
- --- DME will be capturing photos
- your look has to be a complete ensemble and not just a hat if you want to win --- go all out
- be your most creative self because this parade of fashion will be published in photos
- armor is allowed as part of your fashion statement but ...
- --- as a result of the process of elimination, know that your armor will take on decay
- if you are not in the running for winning a prize, you will be eliminated from the ring
- --- and you can't fight back ... if you do, you will be disqualified from any random prizes
- if you are eliminated, please respect the method of elimination, as well as your fellow contestants
- once eliminated, you may not re-enter the ring
- the eliminations will continue until there are 3 people standing --- they will be the winners

- when we are ready for the event, we will move over to the Monria Boxing Ring
- when your name is called, please step into the ring where you will have the stage to yourself
- the more creative you interact with your pet the better -- your fashion statement could be key too
- judging criteria --> most creative pet/owner interaction with tricks/performance/story
- --- we have had some incredible pet/owner performances with tricks and interactions that told a story
- --- each participant gets to have the Local chat channel to themselves during their performance
- --- this is one of our favorite competitions at our St Patrick's Day events
